A Certified 12-Stepper

I recently earned my 12-month Make Friends With Myself chip. I signed up for the program in July 2021. The 1-Month Chip began with a detailed assessment of my Forgiveness Level, Friendship Familiarity Spectrum, and Self Compassion Markers. Plus, I tested my active listening skills. My Forgiveness Levels tested low, I have no experience with friendship development, my self-compassion registers on the conceptual end of the spectrum, and my active listening skills are ready for an upgrade.

The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-month chips are tough. First, I had to identify when I indulge in the projected judgment of others, from unexpressed to expressed thoughts. Accustomed to this compulsive addiction, I updated my algorithm to use the judgment of others as an underlying story link platform. I discovered my judgment of others primarily serves as a protective mechanism. Once I became accustomed to turning around my judgment of others for self-reflection, I began the more harrowing journey into forgiveness.

As I slowly cracked the protection code, underlying stories leaked to the surface, describing impulses to rub my thighs, tap my feet, and bob my torso forward and back. Fortunately, this experience coincided with an Autus Uprising, and I forgave myself for these mannerisms. Then, I followed the path of unmasking into terrifying tombs of repressed self to crack, release and reset old patterns, But I made it through and finally received my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-month chips.
