Hopping on to the Self-awareness Path is an achievement in itself. However, at first, I saw the act requiring much effort. My inner teenager went sullen and kicked up a storm until he found his opportunity to escape on a side path.
My inner coach organized an Hop On & Off Bootcamp, and for awhile my inner teenager thought the camp cool, especially the puddle jumping method of hopping onto the path.
Eventually, though, distraction side paths got stronger and my inner teenager bolted.
I didn’t realize my Achievement Account increased no matter what I did. Achievements, after all, are acquired through the completion of any act. I had points for hopping on the path, for hopping off the path; lots of puddle jumping points, and even more points for bolting down side-paths. When I strung my achievements together, a series of beautifiul lights illuminatd my story.
Peering into my ill lit innerworld, I wondered what might be illuminated if I stayed on the Self-awareness Path for longer durations and strung new achievement light strings. By now, stringing up my achievements, even if I think they are garbage, is getting more comfortable. I still have a dump site, though, but I’m working on clearing it out.
