Broken Connection

Some time ago, I stepped away from creative writing when I recognized I had to focus on making a living in a way that would support my primary role here on earth as Family Legacy Pattern Hacker. So, I spent some time in Defeat and Devastation training, learning to let go of my failure and keep going. I knew I wasn’t giving up on creative writing forever, but I carried resentment as I got in the saddle with some serious inner work to loosen and release my rich inner content.

My devotion to sports, particularly boxing, parallels my creative side, and it was natural to open a boxing gym. Business design and implementation are creatively rewarding. I got my writing hit by composing endless checklists, lesson plans, training manuals, newsletters, and articles. In addition, I wrote a book on boxing fitness and produced community events. On top of it all, I managed to sort and file all of my notes collected after returning from long, treacherous Inner Treks.

My inner File Clerk remembers, “The first five business years were fun and pleasant. Everything coming in sparkled with innovative vision and public enthusiasm. Sorting and filing Content Notes was a breeze! But then the business owner dug down into the boxing side of things, and my job changed. I ended up getting advanced method training in dealing with sorting and filing the dark, dense content. That stuff is almost radioactive. I had to use special gloves.”

I signed a business ownership release contract three years ago and retired to a small seaside town in the Pacific…
