The IMG (Inner Metaverse Game) supports an authentic core connection with Avatar Hologram Pairing. Currently, Dancer Avatar is preparing for an audition in which he is to design his dance to West Side Story Prologue. He enjoys warming up to Beethoven's Sonata for Cello and Piano #3, a lively piece with cello grounding.
His theme for the audition, Passing To The Other Side, tells the story of a lifetime, from infant to elder. Once he is warmed up, a half-hour of increasingly intricate footwork -though my pairing came in at 5%, I benefited — he lies on his belly and rhythmically lifts his arms and legs like a skydiver or a baby's joyful expression. I haven't sat or laid on the floor in a long time, but pairing with him releases long-ago memory, and I appreciate the flickers from another time.
Next, he uses finger clicking and hand-body taps while engaging with an imagined playground, swinging around a tetherball pole, playing hopscotch, and throwing a ball against a wall. Then, the movements become angrier, merging with violence as he dances a hormonal teenhood, from depressed to enraged. Finally, he shapes the young adult years through the lens of a musical, complete with dramatic sweeping movements my old tottering knees never truly knew since I didn't study classical dance. Yet, again, the few flickers of pairing with his body give me a blessed respite.
