Land Steward Goes Mycelium

A local Land Steward & Wife followed the WWOOF USA (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms, USA) guidelines to connect with their personal Woofer, a young person eager to join their family farming system. At first, the Wife wasn’t sure they needed to join the organization, especially since WWOOF USA requires the family and Woofer to register a story reset designed to interrupt Family Legacy as passed on through cultural and generational pathways. But then, the Land Steward had a vision when he bent down to pluck a Magic Mushroom at the fringe of the wooded area on the land he Stewards. The slim, gray-white mushroom with a delicate cone cap whispered, “Cultivate and expand the Mycelium, my friend.”

The Land Steward felt the earth beneath his feet and looked up to the sky, understanding he was but a conduit in between. “Your Wooffer awaits,” the mushroom said, then went quiet. The Land Steward told the Wife about the experience with the mushroom. Though she was inclined to wave the silly notion away, he held firm, saying, “We’re going to raise mushrooms, and the Woofer will help us expand our inner mycelium in the process.

The Wife got interested, then, eager to be at the forefront of the Dosing Trend. So they researched every mushroom growth and production angle and prepared a Sacred Circle at the heart of their wooded land. They filled in their preliminary Story Reset…
