Old Man Knees
Old Man Knees, referred to as OMK, a blend of OMG and OK — Oh My Kay — where the horrible and the okay interchange, emerged as a critical SurfaceWalker long before he received due acknowledgement.
Initially, arthritic knee complaints were most noticeable when climbing stairs. SurfaceWalker Lead & Rule roughly covered up the pain by pretending to use the stairs for Everyday Fitness development. However, the time came when OMK could no longer CoverUp the pain, and suffered Cane Humiliation, and finally, stairs were no longer an option, and OMK graduated to a Walker.
At this point, OMK got fed up! He insisted on governing the SurfaceWorld TrekForce, stating in non-negotiable terms that he could no longer contain the severe somatic experience. Either he was allowed to Lead Somatic Rewilding Navigation, or medical problems would get worse.
At age 63, OMK relocated the SoulContract and set about changing the Governing Code from Knee Condition CoverUp to Knee Condition Reclaim!
The new walker, Black Spartan, quickly became OMK's mobile gym, handy for exercises such as quad extensions, hamstring curls, triceps dips, and stride adjustments. Additionally, he designed a VisualPrompt, ParachuteDown, with the option to name the person in the chute harness. ParachuteDown Old Man Knees became his coveted Anchoring Device.
