Member-only story
Past Pull is a force from loosely to tightly woven. There is a tumble of stories of past identities, roles, disappointments, trauma habits, joy, hope, and failure. Yet you are here, now, looking to your Horizon for inspiration and guidance. Like underlying forces, the more you pursue your hopes and dreams spelled out in bright lights on the Horizon, the more compelling Past Pull is.
The past is a place of darkness. Shadowy undersides tarnish even happy memories. It’s a place where mistakes are hidden, long-abandoned feelings abound, and trauma-informed fragmentation rules. So you are encouraged to “let it go” from many sides at all levels. “Let it go!”
As a concept, let it go sounds excellent. But, I can see myself releasing the hand of Past Pull, no longer responsible for dragging all that stuff around with me. And I manage to maintain a bordered relationship with Past Pull, but, eventually, the allure of the past stories becomes too strong and I turn back.
When you step on the self-awareness path for a Past Release Trek, check your energetic tools, and sharpen your visualization skills. Switch to a Journalist perspective and follow yourself. Take notes about habits, patterns you see, ways in which your body changes, emotions encountered. You will want a strong grounding tool or anchor as you take treks deeper into the belly of the beast, Past Pull. Start small. Or go dark and deep. You know yourself best. But, you won’t regret doing what it takes to release Past Pull stories. On the other side are portals to your body.
