WORDL Trek

I open this morning’s WORDL with mild trepidation., automatically tuning in to my soles for grounding. I step lightly at first and write down the first word that comes to mind — FAINT. The T, illuminated yellow, means the selection is right and wrong, in the wrong place. Wrong Identification is a sure-fire hit of anxiety. I quickly type a word with an O and a UCOULD. Again, one yellow highlight, the O. Right and wrong.

News Flash: Anxiety rising, panic imminent. I grab a fist of my shirt sleeve and tug myself off the ledge, focusing on the Sole Slide, a recent visualization I acquired. https://capkotz.medium.com/sole-slide-85695a539d4a The practice is contributing significantly to a Stiff Knee Story Reset. I select Logic Path and identify what position the T and the O could hold. It isn’t long before I’m distracted and swerve to another project. My ADHD Veer, I call it. Dialing up my inner VR, Lily Pad Hop, I slow down, leaping from pad to pad until my energy vibrates at Tai Chi mastery.

I drop into a warm current, Sadness & Grief, floating along on Moonlight Sonata, Beethoven. The light darkens, and I enter weather fronts of fatigue and despair, then flounder to shore for a Temper Tantrum Dance before returning to Logic Path.

Conceptualizing the word beginning with T, and with a gut feeling there is an S somewhere, I enter the word TROTS. The T and O are green! I got something right! The S is right and wrong. I try to evade the Wrong Hit, but it catches me anyway. Dread gathers on the not-so-distant horizon. I chant over and over, It’s a game, it’s just a game, practice anxiety release. It’s a game, just a game, practice anxiety release.

I try THOSE. All green highlights! I receive the accolade, Spectacular! Sneaky Achievement Thief does a snatch & grab and attempts a quick file under Saved From Failure! I refile it under Anxiety Release and assessed I achieved ten sustainable story reset foundation bricks.
