Writer kept secret journals as a kid, gloried in writing unusual stories for English class, and wove poetry into teenage years of music, books, and drugs. In his young adult years, he burst onto the scene with popular Racy Fiction and a strong show on the musical stage. However, monetary needs became an issue, and Writer found himself relegated to supplying documents. He filled in business forms, wrote basic ad jingles, designed Lesson Plans, Checklists, How To Books, and produced Nonprofit Projects. He tried to keep his Creative Writing alive, but the spark seemed to have died.
His life turned around when retirement came, and he received word he was to get in shape for intensive Narrative Rewilding. Excited to return to his creative roots, Writer waited for SurfaceWalker to knock on creative doors in the new seaside community and give collaboration direction. However, the community didn’t readily welcome the Story Mapping direction, and SurfaceWalker struggled to find footing. Finally, it became apparent that Old Man and his shuffling ways could not be ignored, and he stepped into the full-time SurfaceWalker role.
